Freema Agyeman is not Returning

It seems Max will need a new love interest in the final season of New Amsterdam because Freema Agyeman, who plays Helen Sharpe, will no longer return for season 5. Agyeman released a statement to TVline, announcing that she is officialy stepping back from the show.
