It's been almost two months since The Witcher made its debut on Netflix. Fans and subscribers alike enjoyed the show and was even on track to becoming the streaming platform's biggest first season ever. Now, even after months since it was released, The Witcher is still the top series in the world.

According to Parrot Analytics (via Business Insider), The Witcher is still the most in-demand and streamed series in the world. The show also held its position for the last 30 days from the 14th of January to February 12 after managing to beat Star Wars: The Mandalorian in the number one spot seven weeks ago.

The data firm determines these shows' ranks by measuring "demand expressions," which reflects the "desire, viewership, and engagement of a series weighed by importance." While The Witcher dethroned The Mandalorian off the first place, both shows have been "locked in a battle for audience demand" ever since The Witcher premiered.

Regardless of who takes the number one spot, both of these shows "exhibit qualities that make a streaming series hit." Parrot Analytics thinks their sci-fi and fantasy themes inspired by popular source materials is one of the factors that make these shows a success. And there's no doubt the both these show's second seasons will be as great as the first one.
