There's a lot of hype surrounding Netflix's live-action adaptation of The Witcher books. Sure, fans may have initially been uncertain about the streaming site's decision to cast Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill as the series' star, Geralt of Rivia, but so far, the DCEU star has won everyone's hearts over.

Today Netflix has revealed the titles of all eight episodes of the first season of The Witcher together with short summaries of each episode. This gives fans an idea of what's to come in the highly-anticipated series, though it's a bit difficult to theorize the different events unless you're knowledgeable when it comes to information from The Witcher books.

Here are the titles and descriptions for the episodes:

The episode descriptions aren't that long either, making it harder for fans to guess what Lauren S. Hissrich and her creative team have planned for Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri.

The Witcher premieres on Netflix on December 20, 2019.
