Zack Snyder's Justice League is coming on HBO Max this March and now, Netflix has released the official teaser trailer for the director's Army of the Dead. The teaser brings us a group of mercenaries going to Las Vegas trying to pull off a dangerous heist.
One good look at the first few seconds into the teaser shows that the zombies are on a rampage in the movie. The teaser video starts with a shot of Las Vegas, but not with all of its glory. The city is devastated and destroyed, with no human around.
From that clip, the teaser proceeds to head inside the casino with slot machines and lights turned on. Afterward, we get to see Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista and his crew unloading gunfire. We can only assume that they are shooting at the zombies because it wasn't shown who their targets were in the teaser.
The next clip showed crowds of people enjoying near the casino when hordes of zombies began attacking them. Based on the teaser trailer, the movie will be filled with non-stop action.
As for the synopsis of the Army of the Dead, it is said that the movie will focus on a group of mercenaries who has to take the ultimate gamble following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas. They will venture into the quarantine zone, as they try to pull off the biggest and most impossible heist that was ever attempted.
The film is directed by Zack Snyder. It will be released on May 21 and will be available for streaming on Netflix.
