While fans eagerly wait for the show’s second half, Netflix has released the official teaser trailer for Spy x Family Part 2, confirming that it will release on Netflix in select countries.
The new teaser was uploaded on the Netflix Anime YouTube channel and is available in most regions. Check it out here:
This teaser trailer features clips from the show’s second half, including new characters, action, and a glimpse at the Forger family’s dog.
If the new trailer seems familiar, that’s because this is the same teaser that was released last month on the TOHO Animation YouTube channel following the end of the show’s first half.
The teaser did not come with new information though as it only reiterated that Spy x Family Part 2 will stream on Netflix starting October 2022.
The first half of Spy x Family aired from April 9 to June 25, and it consisted of 12 episodes. As previously announced, the show has a split-cour release, with the first half being released in Spring 2022 and the second half in Fall 2022.
As an adaptation of a hit manga series, Spy x Family is arguably the most popular anime of the Spring 2022 season. Not only did it get a lot of buzz online, but it was also the most-streamed show in Japan in June 2022.
Even during its premiere, the anime already topped the charts in Japan, with Episode 1 peaking at a 3.1% rating.
Spy x Family Part 2 Netflix Release
While the new teaser is available in most regions on the Netflix Anime channel, Part 2 is only confirmed to release in several countries in Asia.
Currently, there’s no announcement yet on if Spy x Family Part 2 will release on Netflix in the US, UK, or in other regions outside of Asia.
For fans outside Asia, Spy x Family Part 2 is confirmed to release on Crunchyroll this October.
