Netflix Moves Up The Release Date Of She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power

It looks like She-Ra fans are in for a treat today. DreamWorks Animations upcoming She-Ra and the Princesses of Power reboot is getting an earlier release date.

According to a new report by io9 Gizmodo, Netflix has just moved up the series premiere of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power by three dates, rescheduling the animated series from its Friday, November 16 opening to a Tuesday, November 13 debut. Fans won't have to wait that long to make their way back to Planet Eheria anymore.

Set to retell the classic origin story of Princess Adora, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power will put the spotlight on Adora, a 16-year-old orphan who discovers that her destiny is to become the legendary magical warrior, She-Ra.

Recalibrating the iconic animated series for a new generation of fans, the reboot of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power will explore the power and importance of friendship and sisterhood. Together with her friends, Adora joins a resistance organization known as the Rebellion. Teaming up with other magical princesses, she then forms the Princess Alliance, a group set to liberate Etheria from the Horde.

The animated series showcases an all-star voice cast including Aimee Carrero, AJ Michalka, Karen Fukuhara, Marcus Scribner, Lorraine Toussaint, Reshma Shetty, Keston John, Christine Woods, Lauren Ash, Jordan Fisher, Genesis Rodriguez, Vella Lovell, Sandra Oh, Merit Leighton, and finally, Krystal Joy Brown.

Developed by Noelle Stevenson and produced by DreamWorks Animation Television, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is set for release on Netflix on November 13, 2018.
