Riot Games and Secret Cinema have teamed-up to produce an "immersive experience" for fans of Riot's popular MOBA game, League of Legends in Los Angeles this November.
On November 21, Secret Cinema will be hosting a "real-life narrative experience" themed to the highly-anticipated anime series Arcane, which premieres Nov. 6 on Netflix.
The entertainment copany will expand upon the Netflix animated series, which is set to be released in three acts, each consisting three episodes. The event will immerse the audience directly into the world of Arcane and will include "bespoke" backstories and missions.
The live experience is expected to blur the line between the audience and actors as players "explore the dark and dangerous underworld —the strange, the sinister, and sometimes even the friendly." Througout the interactive story, players will undertake missions and evade the Piltover Enforcers.
"Secret Cinema and Riot Games have at their heart the same magic—both formats give people permission to plausibly take on a new identity," said Max Alexander, the CEO of Secret Cinema. "Our partnership will build a world that the fans already know intimately, but which they can now for the first time engage and play out a storyline unique to this production."
Tickets for the live experience will go on sale on Oct. 14 at 2pm CT, and prices start from $70.
