Netflix and Riot Games are hyping up the release of the upcoming League of Legends anime series Arcane. In addition to the official trailer that premiered at Netflix's TUDUM global event and the release date announcement, the streamer has been sharing new images for its highly-anticipated original animeb based on Riot's popular MOBA game.
So far, four new images from Arcane have been revealed, and each of them features a character with an associated quote, though it's unclear if the quotes were spoken by them or directed to them.
Two of the images highlight the sisters Vi (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell). Arcane will follow the origin story of the sisters in the twin cities of Runeterra, the utopian Piltover and the slums known as Zaun. In the current lore of the League of Legends, Jinx and Vi don't get along with each other, so it would be interesting to see how their conflict was ignited in the show.
Arcane is expected to feature other legends, so expect to see familiar characters. There's already some speculation about the two other images, with some fans guessing that the bearded man will eventually become the werewolf legend, Warwick, and the other images features a quote by Sivir.
