Last year, BLACKPINK’s Rose and 2NE1’s CL made history by becoming the first female K-pop idols to ever attend the Met Ball.
Now, NCT Johnny took the spotlight and followed his sunbaenim in NYC.

NCT Johnny Makes Fans Drool With Met Gala Look
Teen Vogue recently detailed how Johnny graced the event’s red carpet with his visuals and commendable fashion.
The K-pop idol from Chicago sported a satin number made by Peter Do, FIT Album and LVHM Graduates Prize winner. He also did not forget to flaunt his long satin black tailcoat with silver detail and a matching suit.

He also wore Peter Do’s masterpiece, black combat boots, as his shoes. These feature metal rims that completed Johnny’s ensemble for the event.
The Cherry Bomb hitmaker made it to the Met Gala after a week of feeding his fans with photos of him in the country. Johnny visited the streets of Brooklyn before watching Hamilton on Broadway. He also did yoga at a park before making his official Met Gala debut.
NCT Johnny, Jung Ho Yeon Raise South Korea’s Flag at Met!
Johnny did not miss his chance to meet Squid Game actress Jung Ho Yeon who also went to the Metropolitan Museum of Arts’ Costume Institute in New York.
On his Instagram Story, he shared a photo he took with Jung Ho Yeon. He also posed with Gigi Hadid, Anderson .Paak, and more Hollywood A-listers.
