The end of anything related to the Naruto franchise seems to be a long way away for now. Just this year, there are stage musicals scheduled for the Naruto franchise.
To prepare fans for this, the official website of Live Spectacle Naruto series (via Anime News Network) has revealed the visuals for three of the cast members. Live Spectacle Naruto: Akatsuki no Shirabe will feature Kodai Matsuoka, Ryuji Sato, and Shinji Rachi as Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, and Itachi respectively.
The detail on the costumes are also spectacular. While I've never been a fan of Naruto as a franchise given the artwork, the looks of the three character reveals does point to a lot of detail—though it does give the feel of a very serious-toned run than what I'm accustomed to in the Naruto franchise.
There's also a new short teaser video, seen below, which shows the characters in their respective costumes. Naruto looks fit for the role, and so does Itachi with the full-on glare.
Live Spectacle Naruto: Akatsuki no Shirabe will have a new run with a different narrative than previous musicals. It will be running in Tokyo and Osaka from May to August.
Other cast members confirmed for the musicals include Yui Ito as Sakura, Yuki Kimisawa as Kakashi, Hiro Yumi as Orochimaru, Ryosuke Okada as Kabuto, Seshiru Daigo as Tsunade, and Kanon Nanaki as Karin.
