Narco-Saints Episode 6: Park Hae Soo, Ha Jung Woo Encounter Major Changes in Last Operation

Narco-Saints episode 6 showcased an unexpected scenario between Park Hae Soo and Ha Jung Woo regarding their plan against Hwang Jung Min’s drug syndicate.

The six-part episode series is based on a true story of a civilian entrepreneur who goes to South America’s Suriname for skate fish trading.

He finds himself caught up in a special operation conducted by the NIS in order to track down the country’s most-wanted drug lord.


Narco-Saints Cast

In the action crime K-drama, Ha Jung Woo took on the role of skilled South Korean businessman Kang In Gu who is a genius at negotiations and dealing with money.

However, he found himself being imprisoned despite being innocent of the accusation of orchestrating cocaine trading in South America.

To gain his capital and return to a normal life, he was asked to join as the NIS undercover and work alongside agent Choi Chang Ho (Park Hae Soo) to arrest Suriname’s drug lord Jeon Yo Hwan, who is also disguised as a pastor.

However, infiltrating the syndicate will be tricky as the pastor has an army of supporters and men starting with his legal adviser David Park (Yoo Yeon Seok), and his right-hand man, Byun Ki Tae (Jo Woo Jin.)

Narco-Saints Episode 6: The Final Operation

The finale episode began with Kang In Gu dreaming that he will mess up the special mission.

The pastor killed the women and children of his church while Kang In Gu’s friend, who was killed by the pastor, returned from the dead to hunt him.

Thankfully, it was all a dream and Kang In Gu woke up as the pastor’s visitor, residing at his estate.

In the next scene, Choi Chang Ho was seen arriving in the United States to gear up plans along with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA.)

Here, the NIS agent laid out the plans on how to capture Pastor Jeon Yo Hwan alive along with the evidence.

Choi Chang Ho mentioned an undercover agent working for them, it is Byun Ki Tae who happens to work with the pastor for months, and the civilian informer Kang In Gu.

Unfortunately, Chang Ho is worried that the DEA will not guarantee their safety, especially in the middle of the operation.

Just when the NIS and DEA thought that everything will run smoothly, Narco-Saints episode 6 the twist and turns after Pastor Jeon Yo Hwan’s plan shifted.

Instead of him traveling to Puerto Rico for drug trading, one of his men, deacon Lee Sang Jun will be the one presenting the narcotics to Choi Chang Ho, who is disguised as Kang In Gu’s business partner, Sangman.

With the new arrangement, Kang In Gu and Byun Ki Tae were surprised and quickly sent a heads-up to the NIS.

The team along with the DEA immediately had their planned B on the move.

As Kang In Gu, Byun Ki Tae, and the pastor head to the mansion, Jeon Yo Hwan gets worried that Lee Sang Jun is not picking up his phone.

At this point, Kang In Gu and Byun Ki Tae knew that the authorities might have started the mission.

On the other hand, as soon as the plane arrived at the hangar, Choi Chang Ho arrested Lee Sang Jun who planned to escape but failed as he is outnumbered by the police authorities.

During the interrogation, a member of the NIS convinced him to answer the phone and pretend that he had handed in the shipments. In return, he will only serve 10 years of imprisonment in South Korea.

As soon as the pastor called again, Lee Sang Jun answered the phone and mentioned that he had handed in the narcotics. However, he gave a signal to the pastor by asking him to have a drink with him when he comes back.

At this point, Pastor Jeon Yo Hwan knew that something was not right and pointed the gun at Kang In Gu and admitted that he is working with the NIS.

With the surprising revelation, the pastor was stunned to hear this from his new business partner, pointing out that he was the mule all along.

Just in the nick of time, he received a call from the Suriname president and slammed him for breaking their deal not to bring narcotics to the U.S territory. Moreover, the president also mentioned that the DEA has entered the territory of Suriname.

Saving Kang In Gu, Byun Ki Tae steps in and attempts to fire at Jeon Yo Hwan, however, he was shot first in the leg.

Here, the pastor along with his men tried to escape the estate, but a bloodbath occurred between the syndicate and the authorities.

However, Kang In Gu managed to track and follow the pastor who is set to escape using a boat.

After a series of intense battles between the two, DEA along with the NIS arrested the pastor.

Months later, Kang In Gu is back to his normal life along with his family.

Choi Chang Ho visited him and asked him about the signed baseball that the pastor gave him.

Thinking that it was fake, the agent revealed that it was the only priced possession of the pastor.
