Before Oscar-winning Joker star Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role in the DC sequel Joker: Folie à Deux, he returns to the big screen as Napoleon Bonaparte in Ridley Scott's 'epic' film, Napoleon. That said, is the Napoleon movie on Netflix? Which other streaming services will the movie stream on?
Napoleon: Ridley Scott's 'Epic' Film Since Gladiator

While DCU fans expected that Joaquin Phoenix's next return to the big screens would be as the Joker in Joker 2: Folie à Deux, he will first be starring in Ridley Scott's latest historical drama, Napoleon.
The Napoleon movie received a wide theatrical release on November 22, 2023, in which the Joaquin Phoenix-led film will also receive an IMAX release.
This would make the Napoleon movie Scott's first IMAX formatted film since his 2017's Alien: Covenant. Oh, and a Dolby release, as well.
According to the Napoleon movie helmer Ridley Scott, the upcoming film will soon hit streaming services after its theatrical run, which you can check out below (via Total Film Magazine):
Hang on a minute, though, which streaming service will Napoleon be on, anyway? Will the Napoleon movie be on Netflix?
Is the Napoleon Movie on Netflix?
Netflix is usually the most versatile streaming service amongst its competitors. Not to mention, the home streamer for Sony Pictures films. However, this is not the case for Napoleon.
As it so happens, the Napoleon movie is an Apple Original Film, so even though Sony is distributing the action-filled epic drama, Apple TV+ has exclusive rights to stream it on their catalog once it leaves the big screens.
Whether or not Scott's director's cut will be included in the streaming release remains to be seen as Apple TV+ has yet to address the special feature's status.
The official synopsis for Ridley Scott's Napoleon movie reads:
