The anime's title, Nanare Hananare, could be interpreted as “blooming flowers”, depicting the characters’ desire to grow and succeed together.
This upcoming original series is being made by the creators of Ya Boy Kongming! and Skip and Loafer, so fans can expect a show with a compelling story and a stunning animation style.

When Is Nanare Hananare Coming Out?
Nanare Hananare is slated to premiere sometime in 2024. The anime's reveal didn't give us much info about when it's coming out, as there was no release date or window mentioned.
If we were to speculate, Nanare Hananare is likely to debut in the Spring or Summer of 2024 at the earliest. That's because it was confirmed late in 2023.
If it were set to premiere in Winter 2024, we would have expected more details to be revealed by now.
It was also reported that new details about the anime's release will be unveiled on January 25, 2024, so stay tuned for that!
Who Are the Staff and Studio Behind Nanare Hananare?
Nanare Hananare may be an original anime, but the main staff overseeing it are renowned and seasoned veterans in the industry.
The studio in charge of it is also known for producing some of the most acclaimed titles in recent history.
At the helm of the Nanare Hananare anime is director and series composer Koudai Kakimoto, who also directed BanG Dream! and Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko.
Alongside him are Tomomi Takada (Komada - A Whisky Family), who is in charge of the character design concepts, and Kanami Sekiguchi (Ya Boy Kongming!), who is handling character designs for animation.
In charge of the script are experienced writers Kakimoto, Midori Goto (Attack on Titan: Junior High), and Yuniko Ayana (Given).
Nanare Hananare is being produced by studio P.A. Works, which has made a name for itself by releasing popular titles like the school anime Angel Beats! and the horror series Another.
This year, P.A. Works also produced successful anime shows such as the action-comedy series Buddy Daddies and Skip and Loafer, which became a surprise hit in Spring 2023.
Where to Watch Nanare Hananare
There’s no announcement yet regarding Nanare Hananare’s international streaming partner, but Crunchyroll will most likely pick up the series upon its release.
Crunchyroll is currently streaming several anime by P.A. Works, including Akiba Maid War, Charlotte, and Shirobako.
