Ai Fairouz is quickly becoming one of the most in-demand voice actresses in Japan following her stellar performance as Power. Now, Ai Fairouz is coming to Mushoku Tensei Season 2 to voice a new character.
Mushoku Tensei recently shared that two new VAs will join the second season’s voice cast, and both are quite popular among anime fans.
While Fairouz is no doubt a big draw for seiyuu fans, she will also be joined by Minami Tanaka, another popular VA, especially among Fate series fans.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Adds Two New Cast Members
Minami Tanaka joins Mushoku Tensei Season 2 as Pursena Adoldia, a haughty troublemaker at the Ranoa Magic Academy. There, she will play a big role in the next events involving Rudeus.
Tanaka as Pursena may be a surprise to some, especially for those who know her as the voice of Lily Hoshikawa in Zombieland Saga and Nitocris in Fate/Grand Order. After all, both characters don’t exactly fit the haughty description.
Though her casting does make sense given that she’s not new to this kind of role. That’s because one of her other popular roles is the cruel and sadistic Mary Saotome in Kakegurui.
Joining Tanaka is Ai Fairouz who will voice Linia Dedoldia, another troublemaker at the school alongside Pursena.
Fairouz is best known as Power in Chainsaw Man, but she also has lots of other popular roles such as Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Hibiki Sakura in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?

Ai Fairouz Essentially Voices Power Again in Mushoku Tensei
Linia is another major troublemaker, and much like Pursena, she’s also an arrogant student. What’s more, she’s also impulsive and has a tendency to overestimate her skills.
Sound familiar? This description exactly fits the fan-favorite Blood Fiend in Chainsaw Man, meaning Fairouz will essentially voice Power again.
As her Mushoku Tensei character is quite similar to her iconic role, many fans believe that Fairouz is the perfect VA to voice Linia.
It’ll be interesting to see if she will use a similar voice or if she will go with something different.
With this casting decision, Fairouz proves she’s an excellent VA for these kinds of characters.
Though she has already shown off her range when she voiced the more scatterbrained Cecily in the KonoSuba Explosion spinoff.
Linia and Pursena will appear in the next Mushoku Tensei Season 2 episode which will be released on Crunchyroll this weekend.
