MTG Mythic Championship III Reveals Vivien, Arkbow Ranger From Core Set 2020

Wizards of the Coast has revealed the fifth and final Planeswalker card from the upcoming Magic: The GatheringCore Set 2020, and it's called "Vivien Arkbow Ranger".

The mythic rare card was revealed during the broadcast of Mythic Championship III at Las Vegas which is still being live-streamed now at twitch.tv/magic.

Just like the previous cards that represent the green planeswalker, the new Vivien fits well in a creature-heavy deck. Its ultimate ability to get a creature from outside the game (your sideboard) can help you get what you need against certain matchups, and it looks easy to pull off, but it's not a game-ending ultimate. This card will probably see a good amount of play in Standard and it would be nice to use this card in a Counters format event in Magic Arena.

We've already seen the 3 new Chandra cards, Ajani, Mu Yanling, and Sorin from the upcoming MTG set.

Core Set 2020 is set to be released on July 12, 2019. Core Set 2020 is also coming to Magic Arena, with preorders for the set opening in the game later this week on June 13. The Core Set 2020 bundle in Arena includes a mythic rare Planeswalker card for Chandra as a bonus. Pre-release events will be held from July 5 to July 7.
