When Thor faces Odin, his father tells him that he is not the god of hammers and that the Mjolnir is only a tool to help him channel his abilities. In Ms. Marvel Episode 2, Kamala realizes that the bangle from her great-grandmother is not the source of her powers but rather, it is like an activator of some sort. Her capabilities come from within her!
Ms. Marvel Episode 2 Confirms Kamala's Bangle Is Just Like Thor's Mjolnir -- It Only Activates Her Powers
In Ms. Marvel Episode 2, when Bruno and Kamala are training and exploring her powers, Bruno finds out that the powers of Kamala are coming from within her and not from the bangle she got from her great-grandmother. Kamala is amazed and excited, she even asks if she is related to Thor.
The mention of the God of Thunder is nothing random here. See, in Thor: Ragnarok, when Thor is about to be killed by Hela, he sees a vision of his father, Odin, and Thor tells his father that he cannot defeat his sister. Odin exclaims that Thor is not the god of hammers and the Mjolnir is just a tool to help him control his powers.
Much like Kamala Khan, she only felt the surge of her powers when she wore the bangle she got from her great-grandmother. With Bruno’s discovery that Kamala’s powers are coming from within, it means that she is a powered individual and the bangle just activated her abilities, just like the Mjolnir of Thor.

In the comics, Kamala is an inhuman whose powers were activated by the Terrigen Mist, like Kamran, too. Terrigenesis is something genetic and with the story involving Kamala’s great-grandmother, could it be that the MCU is finally introducing the inhumans through Ms. Marvel but this time, only her bangle has terrigen in it?
Ms. Marvel Episode 2 is now streaming on Disney Plus.
