When it comes to spy movies, Mr. and Mrs. Smith is always a good choice. This year, however, the story has been rebooted into a series on Prime Video. With this, many are wondering if there will be any notable Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024 celebrity cameos.
Thankfully, the trailer of the upcoming series gives its audience a glimpse of whom to expect to be part of the show, at least with a guest appearance. So here's who we'll be seeing in the series.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024 Celebrity Cameos: Which Stars to Expect
The trailer for Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024 gives us a short look into the stars who will be part of the eight-episode series. The series, co-written by Francesca Sloane and Donald Glover, reimagines the romantic spy movie.
With a cast lineup comprising some of the hottest stars in Hollywood, Mr. and Mrs. Smith does seem to be a pretty promising series.
As Sloane says (via We Got This Covered), they were able to "collect the character acter version of the Avengers."
The list of Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024 celebrity cameos include the following:

- Wagner Moura
- Michaela Coel as Bev
- John Turturro as Eric Shane
- Paul Dano as 'Hot Neighbor'
- Alexander Skarsgård
- Eiza González
- Sarah Paulson
- Sharon Horgan
- Ron Perlman as Toby Hellinger
- Billy Campbell
- Ursula Corbero as Rooney
Since these actors are only guest stars, they will only be showing up in one or two episodes.
Unfortunately, we don't know much about the characters that these stars will be portraying in Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024.
We do know that the titular stars will be falling in love over time, so these celebrity cameos may either be someone they work with or an enemy of theirs.
Will Any of the Original Cast Be Part of Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024?
When the teaser trailer of Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024 came out, viewers couldn't help but wonder if it would star the original stars-- specifically its titular characters, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Sloane answered The Direct point blank whether Pitt or Jolie will be making an appearance in the series. Unfortunately, neither will be making a cameo in the series.
But Pitt was very supportive of the series, as shared by Sloane:
"I'll be real, Donald and Brad hung out. ... He gave us his blessings and love for the show."
Although the original 2005 movie will be hard to top, Sloane shares that they are aware of the film's legacy. And it doesn't intend to compete with the movie. In fact, they've added some "easter eggs throughout that are also nods to the film."
The series, however, is just their "version of that world."
Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2024 is set for a release on Prime Video on February 2, 2024.
