Most Family Friendly Christmas Movies: All The Home Alone Films
This is probably the most popular family friendly Christmas movie which could have already attained the "all-time classic" level for being a favorite throughout the years. When you think of a Christmas movie, Home Alone would always be a top answer.
It all started when Kevin was left home for Christmas while his family goes for a trip abroad and with the "Wet Bandits" targeted to rob the McCallister's house, Kevin made sure to hold the fort and defend their home in the most unimaginable pranks a kid could pull off. Then, the rest is history.
Originally created by John Hughes, the Home Alone franchise has six movies, three which released in theaters which are Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, and Home Alone 3, and three TV films which are Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist, and Home Sweet Home Alone.
All six Home Alone movies are Rated PG/ TV-PG, which only requires parental guidance for children, thus, it is a family friendly movie to watch over the holiday season.

While there are many iterations of the Grinch in various titles, what remains to be a cult classic is How the Grinch Stole Christmas which released in 2000 starring Jim Carrey, Christine Baranski, Taylor Momsen, Jeffrey Tambor, Bill Irwin, and Molly Shannon, with the narration of Anthony Hopkins.
Based on the 1957 children's book, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas, the movie follows the misanthropic green creature named the Grinch and he really hates Christmas when Every Who in Whoville loves it. It became a classic because who wouldn't think about the Grinch when it's Christmas?
Not to mention, the adaptation of Jim Carrey's Grinch is quite phenomenal and hilarious which makes it a cult classic, that even when new versions came out already, his iteration remains to be the standard.

Netflix quite has an abundance of their originals for the Christmas season and probably one of the most family friendly to watch is The Christmas Chronicles movie starring Kurt Russell which is available on the streaming platform with an age rating of PG.
The Christmas Chronicles follows two children who saw Santa Claus get into their home and ride his sleigh which later malfunctioned and crashed, losing all presents. By the time the holiday arrives, the kids and Santa tries to save Christmas by delivering all the gifts in time and they will give the other kids what they wished for.

Relatively new on the list is the Netflix original live-action musical fantasy film, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey because, would Christmas be complete without the joyous songs? Of course, not!
Rated PG, suitable for families, Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey follows the granddaughter of a former joyous toy maker who brings hope to her grandfather who was betrayed by an apprentice years back.

From the classic 1816 short story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King and the 1892 ballet The Nutcracker, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms retells the story of a girl who got a locked egg as a gift from here deceased mother and she looked for the key in a magical land.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms has a PG age rating and the movies stars Keira Knightley, Mackenzie Foy, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, Richard E. Grant, Misty Copeland, Eugenio Derbez, and Matthew Macfadyen.

What better family friendly Christmas movie could it be other than that led by kids, right? Well, Santa Hunters are led by kids for kids, as the Nickelodeon movie brings a group of children who are trying to prove that Santa Claus is real.
Santa Hunters follow Alex whose dream is to prove that Santa Claus is real and he convinces his sister, Elizabeth, to join him in his quest. Also aboard their goal are their cousins, Zoey and Richard, as they put cameras throughout their house to capture Santa's arrival.
While their mission was a success, they found out that whenever Santa is seen, he loses some of his magic and the children see Christmas crumble before their eyes, they take on a new quest to destroy all the evidence of Santa that their Uncle Charlie's girlfriend, Natasha, sold for her own personal gain.

Capping off the most family friendly Christmas movies is a fairly new one with a heart felt fantasy Netflix film titled A Boy Called Christmas which released last year following an ordinary young boy, Nikolas, who goes to an extraordinary adventure to the snowy North Pole to look for his father.
His father had been gone to discover Elfhelm, the legendary village of the elves. Nikolas goes looking for him with his reindeer, Blitzen, and his pet mouse, and what he found out is something magical, proving that nothing is impossible. A Boy Called Christmas is based on the book of Matt Haig.
