More Star Wars: Episode VIII Details About What's Being Shot on Ireland

The Star Wars cast and crew are currently shooting at Ireland right now for 2017's highly-anticipated sequel for The Force Awakens. Makingstarwars, a site that has a good track record at reporting accurate set info, shared an intriguing report about what's being shot in that location, and it seems to connect to the previously rumored scene that was reported last week. As usual, until officially confirmed on-screen, take this rumor with a grain of salt. Spoiler alert!

Last week's report described Kylo Ren and the Knights of Ren arriving on Ach-To (The planet where Rey meets Luke Skywalker at the end of The Force Awakens) looking for Rey and Luke. Rey fights Kylo, while Luke single-handedly takes down all seven other Knights of Ren. The new report describes a scene that takes place just before the Knights reveal themselves to Luke and Rey:

> There is smoke.
> A ship appears to have crashed.
> A group of men dressed as black knights with black helmets approach the smoky debris.
> All of the knights then kneel around the smoky location.
> It appears as if one of the knights perished in the crash or someone important is about to step out of it.

That sounds like this is Kylo Ren's grand entrance. Now I'm wondering why the ship crashed. Did Luke and Rey use the force to take it down or did Kylo and the Knights of Ren intentionally crash-landed their ship? This might be the climax of Episode VIII. If this scene ends up being true, the rumored working title for the film would make a lot of sense.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
