Star Wars: Episode VIII Working Title Possibly Revealed

With Star Wars: Episode VIII a year and a half away from its release, we're going to hear a lot of leaks, rumors, and spoilers for the film,

Over the past few days, a clip shared on Reddit claiming to show a poster leaking the title of Episode VIII, set up for the incoming Star Wars Celebration Europe in London, has been talked about online. It claims that the title is Star Wars: Fall of the Resistance. Check out the image:

There's a couple of things that are fishy about this image: the star field of this poster looks weird, stamped with the same repeated pattern with the two stars over it; secondly, this image tries to claim legitimacy by making it look like the poster has leaked out of preparation for the upcoming convention —right down to the camera holder describing something from the stage floor to the sounds of a bustling convention center . But the fact is that Celebration Europe runs from July 15 to July 17, and it's strange if they're setting it up two months in advance. Why would they set it up two months in advance and have a poster with one of the closest guarded secret for the Rian Johnson-directed film.

This isn't the first time someone claimed to reveal the title for Episode VIII. Back in Februrary, another title made rounds in the Internet.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
