Episode 3 takes us to Egypt where Marc Spector and his estranged wife Layla visit an antique dealer named Anton Mogart, played by the late Gaspard Ulliel. Longtime followers of the comics know him by his alter-ego Midnight Man, one of Moon Knight's storied foes. Turns out, Layla and Anton share a lot of history together dating back to their time in Madripoor. As one of Mogart's guards takes Marc and Layla to him, he says: "After what happened in Madripoor, you’ll have a lot to talk about."

Of course, the location mentioned in the third episode rings a bell to MCU fans as it was one of the settings in Disney+'s second MCU series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Also an iconic location in the X-Men lore, Madripoor is an island where criminal activity is at an all-time high.

Now, it'll be interesting to see if this is just a one-off mention of the said location, but it's worth noting that this isn't the first time Moon Knight made a reference to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The real question is, could Madripoor actually play a huge factor in the show? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Moon Knight's third episode is now streaming on Disney+.
