The terrifying new trailer for Netflix's upcoming limited series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, which stars Evan Peters as the destructive serial killer, has been released.

What to Expect in Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story

The show's main focus will be on Peters, who plays the titular character, and will look at the systemic shortcomings of the Wisconsin police that allowed the serial murderer to operate undetected for more than 10 years.

The narrative of the upcoming 10-episode Netflix limited series will mostly be portrayed through the perspectives of the victims who came into contact with the horrible character. Between 1978 and 1991, before being eventually apprehended, Dahmer brutally murdered seventeen innocent people.

The upcoming series reunites Peters with American Horror Stories co-creator Ryan Murphy, who also acts as executive producer for the terrifying examination into the deadly figure's awful true atrocities.

The trailer begins with Dahmer bringing an innocent man back to his apartment. The audience sees a blood-soaked power drill as the camera moves through the scene, indicating the horrific danger.

Peters will appear in the limited series with Niecy Nash from Claws, who will play Glenda Cleveland, the serial killer's curious next-door neighbor. Additionally, Molly Ringwald, Michael Learned, Penelope Ann Miller, and Richard Jenkins will all make appearances in the next limited series.

Murphy and Ian Brennan, who co-created American Horror Story, will both serve as executive producers for the limited series. The two have previously collaborated to co-create a number of prominent shows, such as the Netflix original series The Politician. They co-wrote the first four episodes of the new true-crime series.

It will be intriguing to see what the two renowned and accomplished producers can come up with in this chilling investigation into one of the most heinous serial killers in American history.
