Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area Reveals First Look at The Crew


Netflix's hit Spanish crime thriller series Money Heist (Spanish: La Casa de Papel) may be over, but its South Korean remake, titled Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, is just getting started! The new K-drama will arrive on Netflix globally on June 24, and now, the streamer has shared the first look at the crew led by The Professor (played by Old Boy's Yoo Ji-Tae).

In addition to the new images, Netflix also released the first trailer for Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, which teases North and South Korea uniting to create a new form of currency. Although this series is being billed as a "remake", there are clearly some differences you can notice in the teaser trailer.

Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area will have a total of 12 episodes when it premieres on Netflix on June 24. The streaming giant hasn't announced plans for more seasons, but given the franchise's popularity, the first season will probably be a huge hit, and dominate Netflix's global charts, so there's probably a good chance it will get renewed.
