The two new big bads of Star Trek: Discovery season 5, namely Moll and L'ak, infiltrated the Trills on such short notice.

Despite Captain Burnham's warnings to the Trills, the latter were confident that they could counter-attack when that moment came, especially since they were still in the middle of a sacred ritual.

What the Trills did not foresee, however, is the fact that one of the pair is human, so they weren't able to detect her presence.

In this case, Moll was able to hide under the guise of wearing the red cloak and blend among the crowd, which is how she entered the planet.

Now, while she did not interrupt any conversation or the situation at all and hid her identity, she made one small act that could push her and L'ak's plan on the move: planting a tracker on one of the Ensigns.

As Moll bowed her head to keep her face hidden and unrecognized, she was able to get the chance to bid farewell to Adira Tal, aka one of the Ensigns that was present on the planet.

While it remains to be seen what the tracker device does, it is likely working as a spy-like technology that could intercept the USS Discovery network or perhaps even use it to threaten Adira to take her in as their hostage.

What also hasn't been answered in the episode is why Moll and L'ak specifically chose Adira to track down.

However, considering that Adira didn't even notice the tracker take shelter inside her arm already proves how much of an easy target she is to the enemies.
