Despite the possibility of him actually playing Earth-616's "Smartest Man Alive", the question on a lot of people's minds is will it actually happen? Well, according to Twitter scooper MyTimeToShineHello, the A Quiet Place star's MCU future has yet to be determined.

In a tweet, the oftentimes reliable tipster wrote: "Will Krasinki play the MCU version of Reed? The answer is it hasn't been decided yet"

It's safe to say that Marvel Studios was testing the waters with Krasinski's cameo appearance in Multiverse of Madness and considering the favorable response he got as Mister Fantastic, it wouldn't come as a surprise if Kevin Feige and his team ended up considering him to reprise the part.

With the Fantastic Four reboot set to be released as part of the MCU's Phase 4 slate, 2022 will most likely be the year fans will get an official update regarding the project. As someone who enjoyed what I saw in the theaters, I'm definitely hoping Krasinski plays Earth-616's Reed Richards.

If he doesn't end up playing the part, I still thank Marvel Studios for finally fulfilling this little fantasy a lot of fans have had for quite some time now.
