Michael Peña Confirms Luis’ Return In Ant-Man And The Wasp

Michael Peña's character Luis served as a great comic relief in Marvel's Ant-Man and a lot of Marvel fans have been wondering whether they could expect Luis to go on another storytelling mode on the big screen.

An interview with the Hollywood actor on Collider earlier this week revealed that though he was signed up for two more movies with Marvel, Peña wasn't too sure which one it would be. Not only that, but the actor hadn't been given a call by the studio just yet.

Now, in a new interview on LRM Online, Peña confirms one of the Marvel movies that he's actually in on, and drumroll please, it's Ant-Man and the Wasp.

"So, I'm doing ‘Extinction' next, that's a Universal movie," Peña revealed,"And then I'm doing Ant-Man, Part 2."

The news comes as a relief to fans who'd been made anxious by the actor's uncertainty whether he'd be returning for the Ant-Man sequel. Though Paul Rudd is a pretty funny guy, Luis' kooky storytelling brought in a whole lot of laughs to the original Ant-Man.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is set for release on July 6, 2018.
