Michael Fassbender Looks Badass in These New Assassin's Creed Photos

Assassin's Creed movie will be out in a couple of months, and we're getting new images of Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch and Aguilar. Based on these images, it looks like the film is staying true to its source material even though its story is not based on any of the games. The original games have compelling stories but I don't think their plots would fit well in a big screen format, so I think it's good that they chose to feature a fresh story inspired by the slick stealth action and badass characters in the games.

Thanks to ThePlaylist, here are some new photos from the movie:

Based on the Ubisoft game franchise, the Assassin's Creed movie follows a character by the name of Callum Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, is able to experience the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Assassin's Creed hits theaters on December 21, 2016.
