Michael Douglas Confirms That Ant-Man 3 Is Already Being Planned

There is little doubt that Ant-Man and The Wasp was one of the most entertaining films last year so it could possibly get a sequel? Michael Douglas has confirmed that there are already plans for Ant-Man 3 and it looks like Hank Pym will reunite with Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne soon.

Douglas is currently working on a new Netflix show The Kominsky Method but he was more than happy to answer questions about the Marvel Cinematic Universe (via ComicBook). The veteran actor admitted that he was already told about a possible follow-up to Ant-Man and the Wasp.

"There's been talk [about another Ant-Man]... [but] there's been nothing formal right now that I know of," Douglas said. "They always kind of spring it on me. The first time you hear about it, it's already in its third rewrite."

So does this mean his character Hank will actually be brought back in Ant-Man 3? Douglas was understandably tight-lipped about the original Ant-Man's fate. After all, the post-credits scene from The Wasp revealed that Hank, Hope, and Janet van Dyne were all victims of Thanos' snap in Avengers: Infinity War.

"You know I can't say a word about that," Douglas said. "They have one of those machines that, as soon as you say the word 'Avengers,' a blowgun comes to the side of my neck."

All kidding aside, we're certainly hoping that Douglas will reunite with director Peyton Reed and the rest of the cast for more adventures with Ant-Man.

The fate of the Ant-Man and the Wasp cast will finally be revealed in Avengers: Endgame, which premieres on April 26.
