Sharon Osbourne Claims Meghan Markle's Friends Are Big-Time Individuals In The Industry

During her appearance in the Fox Nation documentary Sharon Osbourne: To Hell and Back, the former host shared her thoughts about Meghan Markle. But she also stressed the fact that she has never met Prince Harry's wife. According to Osbourne, it seems that Markle has a tendency to make friends with people who are well-off.

"I've never met her in my life, but she mixes with the royalty of showbiz, let's put it that way. I think that you have to be over a certain bank balance for her to talk to you. It's all the wealthiest of the [wealthy] in the industry that she hangs out with. And there's nothing wrong with that at all. God bless you. But she does tell some porky pies [lies]. Put it this way, she's surrounded by very, very, like how can I do this politely? It's the cream of the cream in Hollywood music, film, everything she's surrounded by… She's hardly a victim," she said (via Fox News).

Meghan Markle Received Very Harsh Treatment From The British Press

But despite her criticism, Osbourne acknowledged that the treatment that Markle received from the British press was harsh.

"I think that the British press did treat her very harshly when she came. I can remember one headline, which was very, very ugly. And who knows what goes on in a family? Does every member of every family get on? No… Who knows what goes on in a family or a marriage? I always say nobody ever knows," she said.

Sharon Osbourne Thinks Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Do Not Live Happily Ever After

Osbourne also weighed in on the fascination that people have with Markle and Prince Harry. After all, Markle was an American actress who married her prince and relocated to England. However, the host believes that the couple did not live happily ever after, just like characters in fairytale books.

"This American goes to England, marries a prince, and do they [live happily ever] after? No. So it bought a lot of attention to this couple, a lot of attention, which goes on and on as we speak. And it's like you're either a royalist or you agree with Harry and Meghan," she said.

Markle also made headlines this week following the release of the latest episode for Archetypes. The Duchess of Sussex revealed that Prince Harry introduced her to a therapist after realizing that she badly needed help.

"At my worst point, my husband had found a referral for me to call. And I called this woman. She didn't know I was even calling her. She was checking out at the grocery store. I could hear the little beep, beep, and I was like, 'Hi,' and I'm introducing myself and saying I need help," she said (via Page Six).

Markle also talked about the term crazy and said that she feels very strongly about the word because it is thrown around very casually these days.

"The stigma surrounding the word also has this silencing effect. Women experiencing real mental health issues, they get scared, they stay quiet, they internalize and repress for far too long," she said.
