Marvel Studios has been pretty tight-lipped when it comes to avoiding leaks of spoilers to the MCU community, and most definitely when signing NDAs among their casted actors in upcoming films. Recently, the company has set up a new policy for more security, and Captain America: New World Order star Anthony Mackie just revealed how exactly they’re preventing massive spoilers leaks.
“Ironically enough, I [just] got my script today.” Mackie revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show, “I got my script today. Haven’t read it. Haven’t opened it. I haven’t got my passcode to the website that lets you get to the website. We literally get a passcode to a website that gives us a location to meet the person to sign, to sit with a computer, and read our script. They don’t trust nobody.”
Considering the new security measures Marvel has to take in ensuring their employees don’t accidentally reveal any spoilers to the public, rumors and insiders still manage to exist in handing out leaks ahead of their MCU films and series releases.

But this does answer how exactly Marvel Studios is taking care of it. Let’s not forget how most actors involved in making Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame were quite confused in some of the shots, especially with Tom Holland (commonly known for accidentally revealing future spoilers of the franchise).
Interestingly, one other actor did admit she doesn’t really take the whole security thing to heart and that is Evangeline Lilly from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, in which she revealed not following the strict orders from the studio when it comes to setting up a secret vault where their scripts should arrive and be kept in. The Wasp actress just doesn’t see the big deal behind spoiling the audiences on what happens in their upcoming films.
For now, though, rumors and leaks could only take us as far as we can gather. Whether they remain true or had been a hoax this whole time relies heavily on Marvel Studios unveiling their plans for the future of the MCU.
Captain America: New World Order is currently slated to premiere on May 3, 2024.
