MCU Producer Confirms the Return of Eternals

Ever since the release of Eternals last year, a lot of MCU fans have been wondering about what's next for the characters. There have been rumors and speculations that a sequel is already underway which was fuelled months ago by Pip the Troll voice actor Patton Oswalt although Marvel has not confirmed any of it yet.

Now, it looks like we finally have the confirmation that the Eternals are making their return to the MCU soon as revealed by Marvel Studios Vice President of Production Nate Moore during a recent interview with ComicBook.com. While he didn't provide any details, he did assure that their tenure in the MCU is far from over.

"I don't want to spoil anything, but we have not seen the last of those characters," Moore teased.

Even though the film divided critics as evidenced by its 47% Rotten Tomatoes score, it looks like Marvel Studios is still eyeing the characters' return in the future of the MCU. After all, the end of the film left some story threads that they have to address in a potential sequel or another MCU project.

It also shows that the Eternals have importance to the overarching story of the MCU in the Multiverse Saga although it remains to be seen how they'll play in the upcoming projects and phases, especially since we've seen Arishem show up on planet Earth and vowed to return to make a judgment.

It's hard to speculate right now what exactly their plans are for their characters when we see them again in the MCU. However, at the very least, we know that the film wasn't the last time that we're seeing any of them and all we can do for now is wait for the eventual comeback which should happen at some point soon.
