Harrison Ford setting foot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of those things that seemed to be nothing more than a massive pipe dream but after years of clamor, the Hollywood icon has finally been persuaded to join the billion-dollar franchise. Unsurprisingly, it appears that Marvel Studios has major plans for the Star Wars veteran who is taking over the Thunderbolt Ross character from the late William Hurt who passed away last year.

If the latest reports are to be believed, Ross will have a long-overdue upgrade in the next Captain America film top-billed by Anthony Mackie. According to the rumor mill, the tenured MCU antagonist will make his debut as the Red Hulk in Captain America: New World Order which naturally elated fans.

And it seems like all signs are indeed pointing to Ford portraying the crimson version of the Incredible Hulk as an alleged concept art for the villain surfaced on social media. But instead of adding more excitement to the actor's MCU debut, the said character design underwhelmed many thanks to its hideous look.

Now, Instagram artist @21xfour unveiled his take on Harrison's live-action look as Red Hulk and I gotta say, it looks night and day compared to the rumored design Marvel Studios is going with. Check it out below:

With New World Order set to begin filming this year, we're hopeful that the studio will go out of its way to at least improve Red Hulk's design. I'd like to think that the now-viral concept art is just an early draft for the character's live-action design though.

Marvel Studios' Captain America: New World Order is slated for theatrical release on May 3, 2024.
