The production for Matt Reeves' The Batman has officially started and fans are already eager to see Robert Pattinson sporting the hero's suit. While it may take a while to get a glimpse of what's to come, Reeves has shared a photo teasing the first day of shoot and even a reveal of the movie's potential logo.
Taking to Twitter, the filmmaker posted a picture of the movie's first clapboard which revealed that they're starting off the shoot with scene 17. The clapboard also shows The Batman logo, although it isn't clear whether this will be the one used in promotions. You can check out Reeves' tweets below.
While there have been multiple set photos that got around earlier this month, those scenes could likely be rehearsal shots or those will be used for additional photography. Now that Reeves has shared a photo indicating that the film starts its production, it is also likely that it wasn't Pattinson in those set photos, as opposed to what fans have speculated.
Aside from Pattinson, The Batman also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
