While Mashle was somewhat overshadowed by the other spring 2023 shows, the anime quickly got renewed for a new season. Even more surprising is the fact that it only took half a year before season 2.
When the second season aired, it quickly got attention from fans. This is thanks in large part to the earworm of an opening by Creepy Nuts.
The second season’s OP Bling-Bang-Bang-Born became a mega-hit, as it got lots of streams on various platforms and views on YouTube. To date, the official opening video upload has over 70 million views.
Of course, having a catchy opening is one thing, but fans have also warmly received the new season as it features lots of action and hilarious moments featuring the protagonist Mash Burnedead.

Will There Be a Mashle Season 3? Rumors and Predictions
As the second season is not yet over, there’s no official reveal yet of a new Mashle season.
Given that the second season was announced after season 1’s finale, fans will likely need to wait until season 2 episode 12’s release before a possible announcement.
Regarding the chances of a third season, that’s a bit difficult to predict. After all, while it may not be as big of a hit as shows like Frieren or The Apothecary Diaries, it has become a moderate success.
Thus, a third season may be in the works, though it may not be released as quickly as the second season.

Is There Enough Material for Mashle Season 3?
Aside from the chances of a third season, there’s also a matter of whether there’s enough material for a new 12-episode season.
The answer to that is a definite yes. While the Mashle manga is over, the series has 162 chapters. By the end of season 2, there should still be plenty of chapters to cover, enough for more than just another season.
