After a successful first run of Marvel’s What If..? delving into various alternate realities where variants of different heroes come together to build their own team, Guardians of the Multiverse, the show has been confirmed to get a Season 2 and while others think the wait would be long, great news as their writer, A.C. Bradley, officially spilled that the series would be back in late 2022.
Various reports came flying in for the animated series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, What If..?, as to when it would be making its premiere. The writer and producer of the show, A.C. Bradley, simply tweeted that the rumors of What if..? Season 2 coming in late 2022 is really true by saying, “See you later this year, kids! #Marvel #WhatIf”
While the details remain scarce as to the plot details and all, this confirmation of Bradley is enough to keep fans excited for the arrival of What If..? and considering that the animated series would be out later this year, people could expect more updates to come in the next few months before its release to the public.
One of the most loved series that Marvel released last year is What If..?, the first animated series in the MCU bunch. Different worlds in the multiverse were explored by Uatu the Watcher and while it started as an anthology telling people various different stories every episode, it concluded with a finale that comes with a bang: having all the heroes come together to save all worlds and be the Guardians of the Multiverse.

The series ended with a cliffhanger post-credits scene where Captain Carter and Black Widow went into some kind of facility that stores antiques and Natasha found a chamber that contains something special to Carter: it was Steve Rogers in his Hydra Stomper but given that he did not have the serum, he would age like a normal person which would bring him somewhen in his 90s. Still, it is possible he might've been under cryogenesis like the one Bucky had to undergo in the original timeline.
The official release window of Marvel's What If...? Season 2 is yet to be confirmed. Season 1 is available on Disney Plus.
