Whole season long, Marvel's What If..? has been going an unconventional way of telling stories and in the end, it finally paid off as the finale became a culmination of all the alternate realities presented throughout the canon show. It did away with having a post-credits scene in the middle of its run but in the end, is there one?

Is There a Post-Credits Scene in Marvel's What If..? Finale
The classic touch of Marvel is that it puts post-credits scenes to its films where it is either a mid-credits scene, a post-credits scene, or maybe even both. Some would even say you're never truly a fan of Marvel if you don't sit the whole movie out until the final second. Though there are times when all that's in the end seconds are "will return" lines, the excitement of waiting for a post-credit scene still lingers.
After years of having post-credits scenes, Marvel ensured that all the amazing people that made the film or show happen would get enough attention by making people sit it out and wait for the very end, until the last second. Many have wondered if the TV series Marvel would have the same treatment.

Marvel's What If..? Finale Season 1 Post-Credits Scene Explained
It took us back to the first episode where Peggy Carter became the First Avenger. She has her right-hand woman, Black Widow, and in the scene, they are facing Batroc the Leaper in a similar scene from Captain America: The Winter Soldier wherein they get into a ship that Batroc is hijacking, except this time, the shipments inside have something they would want to see.

Just after the multiverse has been saved by the Guardians of the Multiverse, Captain Carter and the rest of the team come back to the moment when they were taken and she was with Natasha on the ship facing Batroc. Black Widow of her timeline is the one with the straight hair, still the cold-hearted assassin, and she calls Widow her "BFF."
However, the pirates were after something that would make Peggy surprised – the Hydra Stomper is in the ship and Black Widow tells Peggy that someone is inside. Presumably, it is Steve inside but given that he did not have the serum, he would age like a normal person which would bring him somewhen in his 90s. Still, it is possible he might've been under kyrogenesis like the one Bucky had to undergo in the original timeline.
Who knows? Maybe the second season of What If..? would be his story being the alternate reality Winter Soldier or something like that.
