Marvel's Blade Reboot Starring Mahershala Ali Possibly Starting Production Next Year

There is little doubt that Marvel Studios has a lot of major projects coming up in the next year. But will the next big Marvel Cinematic Universe flick actually be a highly anticipated reboot? A new report claims that the Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali might begin production later this year or in early 2021.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, they have confirmed that Captain Marvel 2 has been registered for production in the UK. While looking for more details, they reportedly uncovered some new information about a separate project that has also been signed by Marvel representatives. Although there are several possibilities since Marvel has a lot of projects lined up, the report concludes that Grass-Fed Productions is actually working on the Blade reboot.

But why the Blade reboot? The report points out that the film is the only officially announced film that has no known production company just yet. In addition to that, the original Blade movie starring Wesley Snipes had a reference to humans being cattle, hence "grass-fed" might make sense.

The idea that Blade could begin production soon is an exciting one considering that people are already looking forward to seeing Ali in action. However, it is important to point out that the news has not yet been confirmed by Marvel Studios. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Do you think the Blade reboot will be the next major MCU film to begin production? Could Grass-Fed Production be for a different project? Sound off in the comments below.
