Marvel’s Avengers Will Adapt This Comic Storyline

Disney XD's animated series, Marvel's Avengers is slated to adapt one of the more beloved storylines in its comics' history.

According to Nerdist, the series will bring together the heroes in the universe, through Beyonder, the cosmic identity. The crossover event, which introduced the idea of Battleworld where the heroes will battle the biggest baddies in the Marvel universe, will be the main anchor for the fourth season of the animated series.

The event will be Marvel's Avengers: Secret Wars, which kicks off with Tony Stark in another dimension with no way out. As the Avengers try to figure out a way to get back their veteran friend, new villains try to break up this plan and fling all the heroes into different time eras and dimensions.

Marvel's Avengers: Secret Wars will also be a way to introduce the new Avengers under Black Panther's wing, namely Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Wasp, Ms. Marvel, and Vision.

Avengers' fourth season will arrive with its first one-hour episode on June 17 on Disney XD. Alongside this, there will also be six shorts that will feature the six new Avengers to be introduced in the series. These serve as a quick sneak peek into the heroes, starting June 2 on Disney XD, so you'd be prepared to see them in the grand scheme of things.

Marvel's Avengers: Secret Wars will feature the voices of Mick Wingert, Fred Tatasciore, Roger Craig Smith, Travis Willingham, Troy Baker, Laura Bailey, Bumper Robinson, James Matthis, David Kaye, Josh Keaton, Kathreen Khavari, Kari Wahlgren, and Grey Griffin.
