Marvel's Avengers is shaping up to be one of the better-looking superhero video games coming out, with character models that have improved over the first trailer and gameplay that actually looks pretty fun. We still have to wait and see if the game will be good but it looks like Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are already anticipating buys from the hardcore Marvel crowd, hence all of the pre-order bonuses and deluxe editions of the game.
Bill Rosemann, the Vice President and Head of Creative of Marvel Games, has revealed the game's awesome-looking steel case. What's awesome is that the steel case has art from renowned comic book artist Mark Brooks, who hasn't been doing much interior work lately but has made up for it with his fantastic comic book covers. Needless to say, comic book fans will be very happy seeing Brooks provide art for the steel case.
Hopefully, Marvel's Avengers lives up to our expectations and end up being a solid title that everyone can enjoy. Sure, the multiplayer elements have fans worried, along with the cosmetic items that will be locked behind microtransactions but no one will mind if the game itself is just fun to play.
Marvel's Avengers is currently slated for a September 4, 2020 release. The game will be coming out on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
