Marvel's Avengers is expected to be a big AAA game when it comes out so the fact that it's getting a big collector's edition isn't a huge surprise. Called the Marvel's Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Edition, this expensive collector's edition of the game was announced last year and has now been fully-detailed for hardcore fans who are planning to invest in it. So, here's everything you get along with the game and sick Captain America statue.
Alongside that awesome Captain America statue, fans also get the blueprints to Iron Man's armor, a Mjolnir keychain, Hulk Bobblehead, Black Widow belt buckle, a neat Avenger's Day photo with Kamala Khan and the group, an honorary Avenger's pin, and a really neat steel case. That's a lot of cool content for the game and is worth the pricey $200 since that statue alone is usually $150 or so by itself. All of these can be pre-ordered now.
Despite the delay, there's still a lot of excitement surrounding Marvel's Avengers, thanks to the improved character models and fun-looking gameplay. While the odd multiplayer component has many scratching their head, along with the in-game purchases for certain costumes, the game still looks pretty promising.
It's one hell of a way to end a console generation, that's for sure. Assuming that production slows down for the PS4 and Xbox One come 2021 but we'll wait and see.
Marvel's Avengers: Earth Mightiest Edition will be available on September 4.
