What If..? is getting more and more exciting as various alternate realities are told by Uatu, giving a new take on certain events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What Happened in Marvel's What If..? Episode 6?
In Marvel's What If..? Episode 6, What If... Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark?, it all started on that fateful day in Afghanistan when Killmonger saved Tony Stark from a bomb of his creation, from his very own company, Stark Industries. In this timeline, such capture never happened, the Iron Man suit was never made for his escape, not even having an arc reactor since he was saved.
The story went with Killmonger being in the right place at the right time when Obadiah Stane ordered to have Stark killed and Erik decided to save Stark so the machines that he wanted to be built would have a creator. Stark, as a way of gratitude to Killmonger for saving him, asked him to be his COO and what weapon he wanted to do.
When Stane was removed as COO, Erik was offered by Stark to be his right-hand man and they built what looks like sentinels made powered by vibranium, like Stark described, the biggest Gundam there would be. They figured they needed more vibranium so they met with Ulysses Klaue for black market vibranium.
Killmonger had to double both sides, Wakanda and the rest of the world. T'Challa arrived busting their deal and in the end, the death of the heroes. Rhodes died in the bust that happened as he was the one who met with Ulysses Klaue and he was killed by Killmonger when he double-crossed them and T'Challa died in the hands of his cousin who took his glove and used it to kill him.

Since the death of the heir of the throne, T'Challa, Wakanda would have no king-to-be. This opened the door for Killmonger. He took the vibranium from Klaue, killed Stark who figured out his scheme, created and powered more sentinels to have a whole army of it. Afterward, he killed Klaue, brought him to Wakanda, and warned the people there that an army of sentinels are about to arrive.
Upon arriving in Wakanda, he warned the people there that an army of sentinels are about to arrive. T'Chaka believed and Killmonger had to impress him and while he did not fight with the sentinel-like robots, he did watch from afar with Shuri. When Killmonger ended the attack, he was vested by King T'Chaka himself to having the heart-shaped herb and becoming the next Black Panther.
In the end, Shuri found out about the plans of Killmonger and she approached Pepper Potts for help.

Disney+ exclusively streams Marvel's What If..? along with all the other Marvel series released or upcoming as announced for Phase Four of the MCU. The series is Rated TV-14. Disney+ also has the series available in 4k for better viewing.
