Marvel Wants The Walking Dead's David Morrisey in MCU Phase 4

Avengers: Endgame may have closed a huge chapter for Marvel Studios, but we still have more movies to come with Phase 4. We don't know exactly what's in store yet, but the studio is said to want to bring The Walking Dead's David Morrissey into the franchise for a role.

This comes from insider Roger Wardell:

While there's a lot of different roles that Morrissey would be good for, a lot of people think that he's the ideal actor to take on the role of Norman Osborn a.k.a. the Green Goblin. Though I think he might actually pull the role off, just looking at the other actors cast in the previous Spider-Man films, I think Sony would want to cast someone with a bit more star power.

Norman Osborn is like the Joker to Peter's Batman, and I'm sure they would want to cast someone instantly recognizable; at least someone with the same draw as Michael Keaton or Jake Gyllenhaal. Personally, I think Bryan Cranston might be a good choice, but if they end up with Morrissey, I'm not complaining at all.

For now, we wait for Spider-Man: Far from Home which will feature more villains than just Mysterio. Though the Elementals aren't really given any characteristics, they're inspired by other Spidey villains like Sandman, Hydro-Man, and Molten-Man. Hopefully, we get a return from characters like the Vulture and Scorpion from Homecoming.

Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home in theaters July 2.
