Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Passes One Million Sales Milestone

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has passed a huge sales milestone as the Nintendo Switch exclusive has sold over 1 million copies. This is very good news since it hasn't even been a year since the superhero RPG came out, increasing the likeliness for a sequel. Okay, that might be a bold prediction on my part but when you consider how fun Ultimate Alliance 3 was, we would love to see an Ultimate Alliance 4.

Granted, most of us would rather get a Marvel vs Capcom 4 first but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Nintendo has confirmed that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has sold 1.02 million copies, which might not touch something like Super Mario Odyssey or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this is still a huge occasion for the comic book-based game. This includes both physical and digital copies so don't expect a separate sales report, which is something EA would do.

There are a lot of reasons why Ultimate Alliance 3 was a huge hit, thanks to the number of superheroes in the game. Whether you're a hardcore MCU follower or are only into the comics, you will find a team to adore here. Unlike Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has X-Men characters in them, with the Fantastic Four coming later down the line as DLC.

If you haven't yet, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 can now be purchased on the Nintendo Switch.
