Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Releases First Look at Fantastic Four/Doctor Doom DLC

The Nintendo Switch exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has been a pretty good time for those that love a good beat-em-up, or even just those that love Marvel's heroes. Fans have had some mixed thoughts on the Ultimate Alliance 3 Expansion Pass, which has offered some fun heroes to use but is also lacking in any new story content, though the new modes of play have been nice.

It looks like things are about to change a bit since Nintendo has released our first look at Doctor Doom in the upcoming Fantastic Four: Shadow of Doom DLC, which will arrive this Spring. The Tweet also teases some actual story, asking fans if they're ready to stop Doctor Doom from "unleashing cosmic chaos," whatever that is. Either way, it could lead to the new campaign fans have been begging for.

While the playable characters have yet to be revealed, it's pretty obvious that the new characters will be Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Human Torch, and The Thing. I mean, they're the Fantastic Four, who else will be added to the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Fantastic Four DLC?

Admittedly, they could surprise us by adding Doctor Doom as a playable character, along with former Fantastic Four members like Ant-Man and She-Hulk but let's not get carried away. Still, we wouldn't mind being surprised.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is now available on the Nintendo Switch. The Expansion Pass is $20 with two of the three DLC packs now available for use in the game.
