Marvel Studios is set to usher in Phase 5 of the Multiverse Saga via Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and while everyone is raving about the official arrival of Kang the Conqueror and rightfully so, the trailer for the MCU sequel has excluded several key characters from the first two films.

When the official trailer for Quantumania was released, characters like Luis and Kurt were intriguingly missing from the teaser, leading many to believe that they won't be showing up in the project. Well, it turns out that's not the case after all and the owners of "X-Con" are still pretty much part of the cast.

A Twitter post from Michael Kamens (via The Direct) seemed to have confirmed that David Dastmalchian will return as one of Scott Lang's ex-con pals, presumably along with Michael Peña. It turns out that a theater standee for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania lists The Suicide Squad star as part of the sequel's official cast.

However, the said post has suspiciously been taken down. Interestingly, it's also worth pointing out that Dastmalchian previously cast doubt on his inclusion in the film.

It's safe to assume that most of the film takes place in the Quantum Realm so the idea that guys like Kurt and even Luis not making appearances in the film make absolute sense.

On the other hand, however, it wouldn't be an Ant-Man film without the X-Con Security Consultants so I guess we'll just have to wait for the film to find out whether or not they're actually there.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is slated for theatrical release on February 17, 2023.
