Marvel Star William Hurt Reveals His Favorite Thing About The MCU

Working on a Marvel Cinematic Universe film must be a dream come true for most actors. Not surprisingly, William Hurt is proud to have appeared in three MCU movies in the past. The star of The Incredible Hulk recently revealed the best thing about being a part of the successful franchise.

Hurt was recently interviewed for the new book Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years where he was asked what his favorite thing about the MCU is (via ComicBook.com). The Captain America: Civil War actor admitted that he enjoyed working with Joe and Anthony Russo as well as one of his long-time collaborators.

"Working on these movies has been a song for me. The Russo brothers are great guys to work with. Mike Grillo, who's the line producer for Marvel Studios, worked with me on Body Heat, The Big Chill, The Accidental Tourist, and I Love You to Death. That's over the course of 35 years, and we're still pumping. We're both still standing, anyway!"

It's great to know that Hurt got along well with the directors and producer. The Avengers: Infinity War star stated that he took pleasure in working with the Marvel crew.

"What it comes down to is the people. You have the idea, and you have the imagination. That's on the page, and they reflect great things. But, you know, in this work, we're living things. You can't just sit alone in your room with your book and have a great time. It's all about the people you are working with. That's the most important thing."

It is still unclear if Hurt will reprise his role as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross in Avengers 4. We're certainly hoping he survived Thanos' snap and will be around to help the survivors in the fight against the Mad Titan.

Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years will be available starting November 20.
