Loki Survived In Avengers: Infinity War Fake Script

Loki's death is undoubtedly one of the most shocking moments in Avengers: Infinity War despite the character's fate being teased in the film's trailer. However, things would have turned out differently if the crew had followed one of the dummy scripts.

The new book The Art of Avengers: Infinity War reveals that there were fake scripts created for the film (via ComicBook.com). According to executive producer Trinh Tran, one of these scripts actually depicted Loki surviving Thanos' attack on the Asgardian ship.

"We created a version of the script where Loki would get away in an escape pod at the beginning of the movie. When we started shooting that particular sequence, we had crew members who were thoroughly confused. We had to let them know that those were fake versions of the script that they read."

It's a version of the Infinity War story that several fans would want to believe. People have been coming up with theories explaining how Loki may have survived the shocking scene. Some are even insistent that Tom Hiddleston might return to surprise everyone in Avengers 4.

Although it's highly unlikely that there's a deleted scene out there where Loki is humming to himself as he pilots an escape pod, fans can rest assured that Thor's brother will be back soon. It has already been confirmed that the character is getting his own spinoff series on Disney's streaming service. There's a huge possibility that Hiddleston will reprise his role as the God of Mischief in the new project.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently available on DVD and Blu-ray.
