Marvel Resuming the Release of New Comics This Month


The COVID-19 pandemic may have caused a major disruption in the production and distribution of comic books last month, however, it seems like Marvel Comics is ready to begin shipping new titles this May.

According to a report by Newsarama, Marvel Comics has released a list of titles that it plans to release this month after the long break that the comic book publisher had to take because of the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Marvel Comics is going to begin releasing new comic book titles starting with May 27 in what the company calls a "balanced release schedule" that tries to release comic books "in the most thoughtful way" that Marvel can to help keep fans, creators, and the industry afloat during this moment of crisis.

The company will be releasing new titles weekly until July 8.

Here are the comics that are going to kick off Marvel's new release schedule on May 27:

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #43 (FEB200924)

AVENGERS #33 (FEB200982)

MARAUDERS #10 (FEB200894)

STAR WARS: DOCTOR APHRA #1 (FEB201023)

VENOM #25 (FEB200939)

The other releases that Marvel has planned for this month include Deadpool, Daredevil, New Mutants, Immortal Hulk, Iron Man, and so many others.

Comic book fans are going to be glad to hear that Marvel's picking itself up. We all need a great comic book pick me up now that COVID-19 is forcing everyone to isolate themselves at home to prevent the spread of the virus.
