Marvel Reportedly Considering Spider-Man Multiverse Movie With Holland, Garfield, Maguire

Now that Disney and Sony have come to an agreement to keep Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for another two years, a new rumor has begun going around online that the studios actually want to create a Spider-Man Secret Wars multiverse that would include the different Spider-Men played by Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

According to a report by Cosmic Book News, there are rumors spreading around saying that Marvel and Sony are considering building a Spider-Man multiverse that involves the Spider-Men played by Maguire, Garfield, and Holland on the big screen. The plan is for Holland to first appear in Venom 3 wh Carnage featured along with a planet of Symbiotes in a multiverse set-up that allows for the appearance of Garfield and Maguire's version of Peter Parker.

It's a very interesting rumor, one that might excite Spider-Man fans. Sure, Holland's Spider-Man might be considered one of the best iterations of the Marvel hero, but there's always a special place for Maguire's Spider-Man, and so with Garfield.

The idea of bringing them all together through a multiverse narrative suggests a wide range of possibilities and we can't wait to see the three banter with each other. Add Tom Hardy's Venom in the mix and we're sure to have a good time.

Of course, as with all rumors, we advise readers to take this report with a grain of salt. Exciting as the idea of a Spider-Man multiverse may be, we have to wait for confirmation from Marvel before really believing in anything.

Marvel's major film, Avengers: Endgame, is currently available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
