Marvel Releases Official List Of Avengers: Infinity War’s Blu-Ray Special Features

Marvel fans have a lot of great news today.

Not only has Marvel Studios just dropped the official trailer for the full Blu-ray release of Avengers: Infinity War, it's also released a list of all the special features that are going to be included in the disc of the first installment of its two-part Avengers movie.

Though the bonus material available in the Blu-ray and digital copy of Avengers: Infinity War might vary depending on the retailer, fans are going to get four featurettes. Titled Strange Alchemy, The Mad Titan, Beyond the Battle: Titan, and Beyond the Battle: Wakanda, these four featurette videos range from five minutes in length to ten, each giving fans a closer look at the different action scenes, the convergence of characters, and the reason why Joe and Anthony Russo had certain characters team up in the film.

Here's the description of the various featurettes:

Strange Alchemy (5:08)– Share the thrill of characters from across the MCU meeting for the first time—and discover why some were teamed up together.

The Mad Titan (6:34) – Explore the MCU's biggest, baddest villain, his trail of influence through the stories, and the existential threat he represents.

Beyond the Battle: Titan (9:36) – Dive into the climactic struggle on Thanos' ruined world, including the epic stunts and VFX, to uncover the source of its power.

Beyond the Battle: Wakanda (10:58) – Go behind the scenes to find out how the filmmakers pulled off the most massive and challenging battle Marvel had ever attempted.

The Blu-ray and digital copy of the film also includes six deleted and extended scenes, including a gag real and an audio commentary of the film.

Last week a Marvel fan leaked the details of these extended scenes, letting fans know that Happy Knows Best, Hunt for the Mindstone, The Guardians Get Their Groove Back and A Father's Choice would all be part of Infinity War's home release. The leak turned out to be right.

Check out the list of deleted and extended scenes down here:

Happy Knows Best (1:23) – Tony and Pepper spar over the details of their upcoming wedding—until a hassled Happy Hogan pulls up with an urgent request.

Hunt for the Mind Stone (1:24) – On a darkened street, Wanda Maximoff and the wounded Vision attempt to hide from Thanos' brutal allies.

The Guardians Get Their Groove Back (3:20) – As Peter Quill and Drax quarrel over their failed mission to Knowhere, Mantis interrupts with news.

A Father's Choice (4:00) – Thanos confronts Gamora with a vision from her past—and with lying to him about the Soul Stone.

Audio Commentary (approx. 149 min.) by Anthony and Joe Russo, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely

Those purchasing a digital copy of the film also have exclusive material not present n any other format. This exclusive video is the Director's Roundtable, a 32 minute-long featurette that gathers eight of Marvel's many directors together to reflect on the many ways their movies helped contribute to the large storytelling of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Here's the description:

A Directors' Roundtable (approx. 32 min.) – Eight amazing directors reflect on how their movies contribute to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's larger storytelling adventure.

Marvel fans are certainly in for a treat. We know that everyone's going to grab a copy of the film and rewatch scenes till Avengers 4 makes its release next year.
